Le silence de la fort (2003)

Сюжет кино: Just saw this at the Toronto Film Festival. This is a movie that is utterly and thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. The protagonist is a man returning from France back to Western Africa in order to exact change for all of his people. But they don't want change and don't realize the benefit in it. Based on a novel, they used pigmies or baboonga all from the same tribe as the chorus for a good part of the movie. The music is great and the story as good. See it if you can!!
