Сюжет кино: AMHERST, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The Northwestern District Attorney's office has released the name of the man who was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Amherst on Saturday ;
A spokesperson with the department says Jose "Joselito" M. Rodriguez, 31 was fatally shot at the apartment complex off of East Hadley ;
The other victim,a 28-year-old man, is at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester receiving treatment for multiple gunshot wounds.
"Police believe this was not a random act,and that members of the public are not at risk," Carey added.
The Amherst Police Department dispatcher who we spoke to told us they received reports that "shots were fired" just after midnight.
This was for the Southpoint Townhouses and Apartments.
Amherst Police, State Police with the Northwestern District Attorney's Office and the MSP Crime Scene Services are investigating.
Neighbors describe the hectic scene they saw this morning.
"I came out at around 3 and saw the cops, detectives and the German Shepard," said Cheyenne Lewis. "I'm hearing that it happened on the outside of the building and then somehow came through inside of the ; 
Neighbors adding that they've heard some screaming and fights in the complex in the past but nothing as serious as this.
"Behind our house, there is a forest and we have strangers going in and coming back and forth,"  said Shuvashish ;"I was very surprised that this happened, I couldn't believe is really happening in Southpoint?"
